It’s estimated that Americans throw away 13 million tons of textiles a year – about 85% of their clothes. This attitude of “fast fashion” is on the rise and quickly becoming an epidemic. In an effort to help lower that number, we’ve developed the Jean-Nome R’mix as an experiment to encourage social responsibility, share knowledge, stories and ideas. Transform unwanted materials into new products while customizing bag designs to cater to the individual's lifestyle. Create stand alone page to collect donations from friends / family / strangers / community members. Provide a questionnaire to measure awareness, ideas and shared experiences.
